How does the Signal Light for Multitrac work?
The signal light on Multitrac is actually enabled by a single a relay board that is triggered by the printer port in the PC.
The signal light on Multitrac is actually enabled by a single relay board that is triggered by the printer port in the Multitrac PC.  The dryer controller uses this light to alert and operator to a fault.
The printer port is wired to the relay board and the relay board uses 12 VDC to pull in the relay.  The relay contacts turn on the external light.

This wiring is shown in the Multitrac board to board wiring schematic.

The troubleshooting document is attached.

Checking PC connections for Signal Light (Siglite).
  1. Test if working by going to Drynet -> Admin Tools -> Siglite

  2. If this test works than the PC is sending the signal.
  3. If not, check what port the cable is connected to.  Navigate to Device Manager and see what port is available either a USB to serial or Serial on Board.
