Adding Ports for Air Pilot Valves with Air Pilot and Component Part Numbers

Air Pilot Valve Manifold hardware and adding additional ports to a machine.

Under normal circumstances an air manifold block and the parts with it should last a lifetime.  Valves may go bad but the manifold should be fine.
But, if you are adding options to an existing machine you may need more air pilot valves to control those added devices.  In CBW systems adding drain valves and fast fill valves is an example where you would need to add pilot valves.

Depending on how many ports you need you may choose a different manifold size.  

Manifolds and part numbers:
X3 01507A - 12 ports - 1.875" spacing
X3 01507B - 18 ports - 1.875" spacing
X3 01507D - 6 ports - 1.875" spacing
X3 01507H - 10 ports - 0.938" spacing
X3 01507F - 22 ports - 0.938" spacing

When you buy a valve kit, we include the parts for the connection to the valve manifold. 

This example manifold 03 01507D (shown below) has port spacing of 1.875" between ports.  The 10 and 22 port manifolds use a spacing of .938" between ports.  The smaller spacing works with the micro air pilot valve in kits below.  Older ASCO green valve (red hat) used the larger spacing.  

  

Spare ports can be plugged.  See the kit below for a 10 valve manifold and pick the parts you need for the plugs and hardware.  You many need differing quantities for your valve set. 

10 and 22 valve manifolds are most common today.  Locking bars hold the valves and ports in place.  The 22 port lock bar is 03 LF110K.  The 10 valve lock bar is 03 LF1X5K.

IP44 RATING AIR VALVES

IP44 Valves are protected against solid foreign objects of 1 mm and is protected against splashing water.  These are generally used on shipboard machines.
