Windows 10 PC cannot see Windows XP PC
If you cannot see a Windows XP PC in your local network.
If you cannot see an XP PC on Windows 10 for sharing and mapping it could be that Windows 10 is version 1803 or newer.  Windows 10 Version 1803 and later can no longer see XP PC’s Pier to Pier, out of the box. You need to enable the features below to see and Windows XP PC from a Windows 10 PC.

Go through the following steps on the Windows XP computer:
  • Go to the control panel and select "Programs and Features"

  • Select "Turn Windows features on or off" in the top left of the window.

  • Make sure "SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support" and "SMB Direct" are both checked 
  • Press OK and exit all windows that were opened and restart the PC
