Milnor uses shuttle systems to transport goods thru the laundry process.  Goods are most often delivered from extraction systems to dryers via shuttles.  Large laundry systems employ shuttles that travel across a space on floor carts.  These floor carts are guided by rails attached to the floor.  The wheel systems on those carts are described below.  Wheel, Wheel Assemblies, and cart assemblies are listed within tables.  Links are provided to parts diagrams.  Due to differing system requirements shuttles can vary in size and style.
For the purposes of this knowledge article the shuttles will be broken down into four categories, arranged by the wheel configuration of the cart.

  1. 4 wheel shuttle with 2 drive shaft wheels and 2 idler wheels.

  2. 4 wheel shuttles with 1 drive wheel and 3 idler wheels

  3. 2 wheel shuttle with 1 drive wheel and 1 idler wheel 

  4. 2 wheel shuttle with 1 drive wheel, 1 idler wheel and two wheels on a stabilizing outrigger.
