If the shuttle is homeless and you need to pass through home to another destination, then you MUST put a count target on the rail at home. Otherwise, when you cross home you will miss a count. Essentially, the Home target does not count unless you are going home.
In the example above, the shuttle will slow at count 9 or 11 and stop at home. However if there is no count target at home, the shuttle will not count the home target when going from 9 to 11 so, a count will be missed. This is why you put a count target at home. Also make sure the count target is slightly wider than home so it does not see home without seeing a count.

Miltrac rules on moving left or right still apply. It the device is left of where I am, then the Y coordinate must be higher. Right moves must be lower. Effectively you must mimic the Y coordinates with the station numbers and counts in shuttle configure if the shuttle is "homeless".
Shuttle Moves left to the Higher Y coordinate. "Higher Y to the left".
Shuttle count value increases as it moves to the left. "Higher count to the left. "
Devices in Miltrac are assinged a Station number. They report this to the Shuttle through Miltrac. The shuttle then looks up a count based on the station number.
The station number applies to the whole device. This means that if the device receives and discharges to 2 shuttles then the station numbers must take into consideration both shuttle rails and station numbers.
