Pulse Flow Meters not working
Pulse Flow Mag meters tell the Mentor how much water is flowing. If they are not reporting...here are some helpful ideas.
The flow meter system for the Pulse Flow uses Burkert Mag Flow meters and a Burkert 8025 signal conditioner.  The sensor is on a module and the 8025 is on the load chute side.

The 8025 makes a pulse input to a high speed IO board number 81 in the Mentor controls.  The pulse is set at 0.1 gallons or 0.1 liters depending on English or Metric settings.

Most machines have 2 flow meters, one for the Main pulse flow and the other for the mid mod flow.  Some machines have more than one mid mod pump.

If the 8025 meter is showing no flow then the issue is probably at the sensor on the Module.

Inputs are on the Hi Speed IO board number 81.
The input for the first flow meter is on MTA 4-1, 2nd meter is MTA4-2.  See the schematic for more meters.

If you jump the input to ground on the Hi speed board you should get a 1/10th of a gallon on the quantity pumped on the Mentor.  Touch many times to see if the board is counting properly.

If the flow meter is showing flow on the 8025 then the sensor at the module is probably ok.  Know that you should regularly clean the sensor by removing it and wiping it with a rag so it reads the proper value. We have seen buildup on the meter tips that cause reduced flow readings.

When the 8025 is making the input, the LED should be green.  The pulsed inputs are normally so fast that the LED stays lit even though it is actually turning on and off quickly.

If the flow is off then the LED on the I/O board should be off.
