Miltrac Programming
The Miltrac Controller handles all movement of goods through the system. This is the brain or traffic controller for all linen

System Overview

First, we need to get a general idea of the necessary rules we need to follow. The most important idea to keep in mind when setting up Miltrac is the Flow of Goods (FoG). The FoG refers to the way the linen travels through the system from tunnel to press, to shuttle, and dryers. If you can image one batch of goods flowing through your system from start to finish, we can layout the XY coordinate grid for Miltrac.

Rules to Follow

  1. Each Device takes one space in the XY coordinate grid. This does not depend on the number of storage positions.
  2. Goods can only flow to the next X coordinate higher than its current position. X-0 moves to X-1, or X-3 moves to X-4
  3. The Device transferring goods must be on the same Y coordinate as the Device receiving the goods.
