Miltrac 2nd Monitor

Adding a secondary video card to the MultiTrac PC

1. Turn off the computer and unplug the power cord.
2. Remove the screws holding the access panel on the PC.
3. Insert the new card in one of the existing PCI slots. Don’t forget to remove the metal cover from the expansion slot. Attach the secondary monitor cable to the back of the new video card.
4. Replace the access panel and the power cord.
5. Allow the PC to boot up completely then close all running applications.
6. Insert the CD-ROM that came with the video card. Follow the directions regarding driver installation.
7. Allow the PC to reboot then close or minimize any open windows.
8. Right mouse click on the desktop and choose PROPERTIES from the popup menu.
9. Click on the SETTINGS tab.
10. Click on the “2” box and change the Colors, Screen Area so they are the same as “1” setting. Make sure the checkbox “Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor” is checked. Click the “Apply” button when finished. A message box will appear to accept these changes, click “Yes”.
11. In the Miltrac software under the Options menu select “Show pages in secondary monitor”
