This error occurs due to a corrupted file on the Mentor PC. The error typically follows this format, "Run Time Error XXX XXXX XXXXX: The Microsoft Jet Engine stopped the process because you and another user are attempting to change the same data at the same time."

Mentor Versions before 3.2 (Corrupted CBWproc.mdb)

  1.  Close Mentor.
  2. Go to My Computer
  3. Go to "C:\Program Files\Milnor\CBW" or "C:\Program Files (x86)\Milnor\Mentor"
  4. Locate CBWproc.mdb and right click on it.
  5. Rename CBWproc.mdb to CBWprocold.mdb and restart Mentor.

Mentor 3.2 and Later (Corrupted Miltron.mdb)

  1. Close Mentor.
  2. Go to My Computer
  3. Go to "C:\Program Files\Milnor\Mentor" or "C:\Program Files (x86)\Milnor\Mentor"
  4. Locate Miltron.mdb and right click on it.
  5. Rename Miltron.mdb to Miltron-old.mdb.
  6. Copy your backup to this directory and restart Mentor.
