Milnor has entered into a licensing agreement with manufacturer Krebe Tippo allowing use of the Milnor brand.
The Krebe Tippo machine uses a Milnor MilTouch controller and I/O board. The output devices such as valves and control components on the machines connect to the MilTouch controls.
The schematic for the MilTouch control is provided by Milnor. The wiring of the output board and machine components is provided by Krebe Tippo and attached below. See attachments (in a .zip file) at the end of the article for board schematics of the various Krebe Tippo machines. There is an output board schematic attached to this article (08BJT120AS artwork) that allows you to see the I/O board connectors and pin layout for troubleshooting. Board connector and pin numbers are hard to see with wires installed on the board. So, use the artwork pic for easy reference.
Chemical connections
Chem connections are discussed in the reference manual and are shown on the schematics attached. Board connector M3 pin 30 is a common for chem connections on liquid supply systems. M3 pin 36, 35, 34, 33, and 32 are connections for chems 7 thru 11 which are used for liquid inject. There is a terminal block supplied for chem connections marked with wires 30 thru 36. You will supply power from the chem system to wire 30 and return the signal to the chem system via wires 32 thru 36. Chems 1 thru 6 are used for a dry supply flush on the machine. So, if using liquid injects you will program chems 7 thru 11 as needed. You can manually test the chem signals using manual outputs on the MilTouch controller.
WARNING!
On some chem systems the chem output may always appear to be on. This is the result of a snubber network on the board across the chem output relay contact. If this is a problem, find the resistors for chems 7 through 11on the board marked R6, R7, R8, R9, R10 and cut one lead of these resistors. If using chem 0 through 6 cut resistors R0 through R5. This will disconnect the snubber network and solve the feed through problem with the chem signals.
See yellow highlights below for resistor locations. Board part number 08BJT120BT.
NOTE: Chemical Signals on these machines are a PULSE signal. The chem controller used with these machines must account for this.
