Why Do I Need To Know?
With different versions of PCs, Milnor may store data in different locations. For instance we have designed programs based around the 32 bit ecosystem. Anyone with a 64 bit PC will then have a division in the PC for 64 bit programs and 32 bit programs, separate folders, different registry keys, and etc.
Finding Your System Version
Your PC typically has

This PC on the
Desktop. Right click on your corresponding icon. Then click Properties in the menu that appears.
You should see a window with data similar to the one below. The style may be different for other versions of Windows. Take note of the
Version of Windows you are running and the
System Type.
I am running
Windows 10 using a system type of
64 bit.
