You will need to set the dip switches correctly and program the inverter when you order a new one. The dip switch settings can be seen below and you can find the inverter constants along with instructions for programming the inverter for your machine by clicking on the following link:
The following images are for a V1000 17.5 Amp inverter. Yours may be a different model or size but the dip switch settings will be the same for all.
S1: Voltage (V) or Current (I)
Set to V for voltage
S2: On or Off
Set to On
S3: Sinking or Sourcing
Set to Sinking
