DryNet Overview

The Drynet controller is your primary program used for configuring your dryers and shuttles, programming drycodes, and collecting dryer data.  The app normally runs on the Multitrac PC as one of many apps to allow the laundry to operate. Normally the DryNet view is what operators keep as their home page on the MUltitrac PC.

The PC application "DryNet" allows the configuration of shuttles and dryers.  In addition the app shows the "displays" of the dryers and shuttles in a laundry.  It also affords direct access to the manual functions of these devices.

DryNet can be set to capture dryer temperature profile information during a dry cycle which can be used to see performance of the dryer in a drycycle and help make programming decisions to improve performance.  During a drycycle the performance graph data can be viewed.  Temp profile history (the graph data) is kept on the PC and is posted to the database after the drycycle ends.  The database grows rather large and is archived as the file grows large.  These archives are available for viewing later if needed.

The Dryer programmer is attached to DryNet and drycycle data can be changed while dryers are running.  The next load in a dryer will load the last saved drycode from DryNet.  So, essentially the DryNet serves as a server of drycode data to the individual dryers.

Configuration data is stored on the PC for dryers and shuttles and uploaded on command.  You first must enter the "keypad" view of the device and then can upload after enabling the program key on the manual display.  The "key" is made using a processor controlled 6 output board to enable programming.  In this manner a dryer or shuttle processor becomes a slave to the data on the PC, so board changes are easy and quick to execute.
