Dryer Switches
These are switches typically found on Milnor Pass Through Dryers and the explanation of the functionality

Discharge Door and Jog Controls (typically on the rear)

Load Not Allowed switch (A)

This switch determines whether the machine will request (accept) a new load automatically, as follows:
In the up position, the machine will not request a load.
In the down position, the machine will request a new load after discharging the current load (required for normal, automatic operation).

Discharge Allowed switch (B)

This switch determines how the machine will discharge, as follows:

Down Positon (Discharge Allowed Always)

In the down postion, the machine automatically discharges each load when the dry code is finished, without regard for the ready status of the receiving device. For example, if a cart is supposed to be in position, but it is not, the goods will discharge onto the floor.

Center Position (Miltrac Discharge)

In the center position, the machine does not discharge unless it receives a signal from the Miltrac™ controller to discharge. Hence, this position has two uses: 1) It is required for normal operation if the machine is unloaded via Miltrac, and 2) it may be used to prevent automatic discharge if the machine is not unloaded via Miltrac.

Up Postion (Discharge Allowed Momentary)

In the up position, if the machine is ready to discharge, this momentary position will initiate the discharge process.

Automatic/Manual Rotation switch (C)

This switch determines what controls basket rotation, as follows:
In the right position, automatic operation is suspended, the discharge door opens and basket rotation is controlled by the Jog Direction switch.
In the left position, the basket rotates automatically.

Jog Direction switch (D)

Used for unloading. When rotation is set to manual, this center-off switch causes the basket to rotate.
Note: Milnor makes dryers that can be paired together, they are almost mirror images of each other. This is important. The basket rotations are mirrored as well for the prevention of plastering. Dryer models ending with and L, like 6464TG1L, will rotate according to the rotation switch. If you point the switch to clockwise, the basket will rotate clockwise (when viewed from the front). Dryer models ending with an R, like 6458TG1R, will rotate opposite the rotation switch. If you point the switch clockwise, the basket will rotate counter-clockwise (when viewed from the front).
In the left position (momentary, clockwise), the basket rotates clockwise (when viewing the machine from the front) while the switch is held.
In the right position (momentary, counter-clockwise), the basket rotates counter-clockwise while the switch is held.
