From time to time confusion arises as to the correct part number to order when replacing a blower wheel on a Milnor pass thru dryer. The question is: does the needed blower turn in a clockwise direction (found predominantly on the right hand dryer of a dryer pair) or in a counterclockwise direction (found on the left hand dryer)?
This can be determined by looking at the blower wheel.
Looking at the blower in the direction of the motor shaft, picture a directional arrow traveling from the inside of the fin to the outside of the fin.
The direction of the arrows gives you clockwise/counterclockwise information about the part.
Or, if looking at the blower wheel from the side, determine the side, left or right, of the inner part of a single fin and the outer part of the same fin.
If the inner part of the fin is on the left and the outer part is on the right, the blower wheel is counterclockwise.
If the inner part of the fin is on the right and the outer part on the left, the blower wheel is clockwise.
