Datafusion data error on Drycodes
A data error occurs in dryecode when passed to a Datafusion Multitrac system

Problem

Data mismatch at the Pod dryer Multitrac system.

Example

Drycode and goods code are showing the same in Multitrac cake data even though they should be different.  Mentor shows the correct drycode on the formula worksheet in the CBW Mentor (or configured correctly on the goods code assignment page).

Why This Happens

The data that is passed to DataFusion includes:
  • Formula (or Goodscode)
  • Customer
  • Weight
  • Batch number
In order for the Multitrac system running Miltrac to fetch the right data for a drycode or presscode it needs to lookup the data from a file called PostWash.DAT.  This file will be on the Multitrac PC at the following location C:\Milnor\.  If the file is missing, then the drycode will appear the same as the formula number (goods code).  The CBW must know where to write the data if changes are made to CBW formula information.

Configure Postwash Lookup

Mentor needs to know where to update PostWash.DAT through the Postwash Lookup menu option. Here you will enter the name of the Multitrac PC(s) into Mentor memory.
  1. Go to Postwash Lookup in the Mentor.

  2. Enter the PC names. This would be the name of the one or 2 Multitrac PC’s in a Dryer Pod system, for example.  Conventional naming is Multitrac1 and Multitrac 2.

  3. Mentor generates or changes the PostWash.DAT file after you change a formula. Open your Formulas page and click Save & Exit to generate the file without modifying your formulas.

Save and Exit Button for Formulas

  4. Check the C:\Milnor\ for the new PostWash.DAT file to make sure it has been generated.
