Milnor has a number of washer/extractors that have divided cylinders. The cylinders are divided into pockets, either two or three. Each pocket has its own internal cylinder door. This knowledge article is about the latch assemblies on those cylinder doors. In the diagram below, those latch assemblies are circled. Note that staph machines have one cylinder door on the load (soil) side and the other on the unload (clean) side. Not represented in the diagram below.

HOOK LATCHES
60044SP3, 60044SR3, 60044WP3, and 60044WR3 have secondary doors within the main cylinder door. These close and secure with hook latch mechanisms. Attached to the secondary door is the hook mechanism (A). And attached to the main door are the studs that are hooked onto (B). See diagram below.
